Repair Commissions

Rowe Realty charges a repair commission for the following services performed in coordinating outside vendors and materials:

• Full Time Maintenance Coordinator
• Full Time Maintenance Supervisor
• 24 hour Answering System and on call Staff
• Ordering Repairs & Tracking of all work orders
• Follow up on Work Order with Tenants to insure satisfaction of repairs
• Supervise Work during Repairs and Renovations
• Disbursement of Funds for Payment to Vendors
• Owner Contact and Notification for Repairs
• Written Proposals for Renovations and Major Repairs
• Tracking all Vendor certifications such as business licenses, contractor licenses
• Vendor Negotiations for Cost Control
• Monitor Warranties on Services and Materials

Rowe does not charge repair commissions on the following Vendors:

• Georgia Power
• Columbus Water Works
• United Cities Gas
• Dumpster Charges
• Lawn & Grounds Maintenance
• Cable Television Service

Repair commissions range from five (5) to fifteen (15) percent and are added to materials and vendors costs only.  The larger the cost of materials or vendors charges, the lower the commsion rate.  A $15 material charge will carry a commission of15% or $2.25 where a $700 charge for HVAC system may be as low as 5% or $35.00.
